The Himalayas
The Himalayas is a mountain chain situated in the
Asiatic continent and it reaches countries such as Bhutan, China, Nepal,
Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and India.
The Himalayas has more than 100 peaks and it is
2.600 kilometres long.
The biggest Asian rivers originate in the Himalayas;
for example, the Ganges, Indo, Brahmaputra, Yamuna and Yangtze.
